The player can actually farm xp to permanently unlock abilities. Aging and becoming stronger feels more like a gimmick than a core mechanic. Dodge attack patterns, land a couple of hits, focus attack. Boss fights (except last one which was the only fun boss fight imo) play almost identically. Voice acting feels like they picked out random developers with no voice acting experience. You can only dodge only by expecting them after learning enemy attack patterns.
Low attacks are rare and unfairly hard to read. You have to read, memorise and try out 24 different skills while you are still getting the hang out of combat. Skill system and progression is confusing. Compare this with Hades a 20 euro game that you can sink probably a hundred hours due to high replayability. 40 euros for a 10 hour game with little replayability value. Using environment to counter oponents and create space adds a nice dynamic - Music fits the atmosphere, especially the club level - Motion captured animations look very nice - Levels feel distinct and have personality Bad: - Price.
